How to Connect Instagram for Social Media Automation

What it is

To automate and manage Instagram posts using LaunchMeLoud, you must connect your Instagram Business Account to a Facebook Page you manage. This is required by Meta’s API and ensures secure, full-feature access.

How to use
✅ Step 1: Switch to a Professional Instagram Account

  1. Open the Instagram app.

  2. Go to Settings → Account → Switch to Professional Account.

  3. Choose Business (recommended for full automation features).

  4. Complete the setup steps.

✅ Step 2: Link Instagram to a Facebook Page

  1. In the Instagram app, go to Settings → Account Center.

  2. Tap “Add Facebook Account” and log in.

  3. Select a Facebook Page you manage to connect with your Instagram.

  4. Confirm the connection.

✅ Step 3: Verify the Connection in Meta Business Suite

  1. Go to Meta Business Suite.

  2. Choose the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram.

  3. Navigate to Settings → Business Settings → Instagram Accounts.

  4. Confirm the Instagram account appears and is connected.

⚙️ Final Step: Connect in LaunchMeLoud

  1. Log in to LaunchMeLoud.

  2. Go to Social Media → Build Network.

  3. Click Connect Instagram.

  4. Authenticate via Facebook and select the correct Page and Instagram account.

  5. Approve all requested permissions.

💡 Notes

  • Instagram personal accounts cannot be connected via the Meta API.

  • You must use a Business Instagram account connected to a Facebook Page.

  • This connection enables full automation, scheduling, and performance tracking via LaunchMeLoud.
